Preliminary Trail Design

Now that the trail alignment location has been determined, Stantec has moved into the design development of the trail. The preliminary design phase will include design elements for the trail including surface details, street crossing elements, and access information. The Rail Trail Design & Construction Advisory Committee will be holding neighborhood meetings to review those preliminary designs with the trail neighbors. This will be an exciting time as it’ll provide neighbors and the community with an idea of what the trail will look like right here in Swampscott.
