At their March 1, 2017 meeting, the Swampscott Board of Selectmen unanimously agreed to sponsor a capital request article for the May Town Meeting warrant for the rail trail project. This $850,000 capital request will be used for Design and Engineering services and as well as acquisition of easement rights. The full text of the warrant article is available here.
